Fran’s work can be found in office spaces, businesses and personal collections throughout Western New York. Signature elements of the artist’s compositions include loose brush movements, finger smudges and stray brush hairs left in the layers of paint. Fran’s philosophy is that an original piece is incomplete without evidence of the artist’s presence during the creative process.
Fran’s fascination with both realistic and gestural figure depiction is fueled by experience in multiple disciplines of dance. Though differing greatly in styles, Fran is most inspired by the works of John Singer Sargent, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and the drawing mechanics of Leonardo Da Vinci. Despite her adoration of the classics, Fran sticks to her own artistic style. She believes that we do not choose the art that we create. Training does not define us but rather empowers us to recognize our own artistic paths as we progress.
At the age of 28, Fran is a rising artist who is looking for new stories to tell. She seeks passion in the minds of her patrons and the eyes of her audience. No piece is too big or too small to make a proper impact. Contact Fran to plan your masterpiece today!
